What is an object's "Code"
While Code
can be the same as Id
, it doesn't necessarily have to be. Code
can be anything, and is intended to be a unique, human-readable key word, abbreviation, or phrase that is meaningful to your organization.
Rates with overlapping date ranges
Yes, but not for all resellers. For most cases when rates are specified with overlapping date ranges, the reseller will be presented with both rates during the overlap period and it will be up to them to decide which to select for bookings. Some resellers do not allow concurrent rates; in order to resell on these platforms, only sequential rates are allowed. See product/rate rules pages for Expedia and Get Your Guide for more information.

Resellers are represented through Redeam's Channel API as a Channel object. In order for a reseller to list
A Channel Binding grants a Channel permission to sell a Product at one or more Rates. By default, all active RatePrices underneath the selected Rates are visible to the Channel. The optional priceTags on a Channel Binding can be used to filter which RatePrices are visible to the channel. If one or more priceTags are specified, each tag must be present in a RatePrice's Labels to be visible to the channel.
