Welcome

Redeam's Operator API describes a set of interfaces that provide connectivity for tours & attractions between an operator and Redeam's growing network of API-connected online travel agencies (OTAs).

If you are interested in becoming a Redeam Partner and integrating with the Redeam Operator API and you have not been contracted with Redeam, you must first complete the following Technical Questionnaire . Our team will get in contact with you once your application has been reviewed. NOTE: Development to the Redeam Channel API can only commence once your application has been 'approved', and any applicable agreements are signed.

Integration Process

The integration process starts with one or more technical design and review meetings. During these meetings, our team will work with you to define and map your unique system requirements to the Redeam API. Once your integration is complete, a Redeam engineer will certify the integration by running a suite of test scripts. The data generated from the tests will then be reconciled across both systems.

Best Practices

In accordance with the API Services Terms of Use Agreement signed by the partner before development has commenced, these guidelines are in place to ensure efficient and proper use of the Redeam API’s.

The following Best Practices must be adhered to by all Partners who wish to have an interface to the Redeam API’s.

Failure to follow these guidelines could jeopardize the interface and, if no action is taken by the provider to rectify non-compliance within 3 months from notification, reserves the right to disable the interface until such corrections have taken place.

Please note however, that if the non-compliance of the Partner puts the performance of the production environment at risk, Redeam reserves the right to disable the interface immediately

The Channel Management API is an interface provided by Redeam. This interface provides operators with methods to manage channel connectivity through Redeam, and powerful tools to control Redeam's data caching layer.

The Operator Booking System(or OBS) is an interface maintained by the operator's system. Redeam-connected OTAs can access this interface through Redeam to list available attractions, create reservations and place bookings.

Please note both Channel Management and OBS sections; Both are required to fully transact Channel Management and will allow you to control which products and suppliers are available to which channels. Please include this in your plans for development or discuss with the Integrations Team if you do not have this capability within your system.

Please note the Capabilities section. It is highly recommended that you implement as many of the capabilities as you can as that allows you to connect to more Resellers. Some resellers require functionality from the capabilities. Discuss with the Implementation Team if you want to know specifics about particular Resellers. Those Capabilities marked with a ** are most often used and highly recommended.
